• Image of Sigh - Infidel Art CD

Recorded in Tokyo, the recording is a collection of diverse influences; film scores, free jazz and classical music all rear their heads, but reimagined to fit an extreme metal template. The lyrics deal with obscure Japanese occult rituals and death worship, all to the accompaniment of strange and eclectic melodies, quite unlike any other band at the time. The music itself was met with interest and puzzlement upon its release, but the album is truly the forerunner of avant garde Black Metal as we know it today.

2016’s re-issue of INFIDEL ART once again features Utagawa Hiroshige's 19th century masterpiece 'Taira no Kiyomori kai-i o miru zu' in a revamped booklet, alongside re-mastered audio, including bonus studio material, engineered at HVR Studios.
